WHAT ABOUT THE WORKERS

The fashion industry is a big time business with tons of money that comes in each year you would be amazed.

For example Michael Jordan made more money on his 1992 deal with Nike than about 30,000 of the entire work force in Indonesia who make Nike shoes full time(Jordan made 20 million on that deal). 30,000 people that Jordan made more than is pretty incredible being that MJ is only one person. In 1992 they made about only 19 million pair of shoes.

As we know Nike is a big business and they are also the 77th biggest in the USA and 167th in the world. Last year they booked in a staggering 553 million dollars off of their workers I wonder what the workers them self got out of that profit?

Does anyone know why Disney makes soooo muuuccchhh MONEY! Well not only do kids all over the world love their cartoons, but the people who drew them sign away all their rights on the design to the Disney Corporation with their employment contract. ONLY if they knew how much money is being made off of them. One person who did not sign off their rights was someone by the name Michael Eisner's. See now Michael Eisner's makes about 100,000 an hour for his work (to bad for those other guys who signed their rights away.)gets paid as much in one hour as 325,000 Disney workers would earn. The workers in Haiti are the ones who make the Pocahontas, Lion King and Hunchback of Notre Dame T-shirts and pajamas and sew the ears on Mickey Mouse toys. At the N.S. Mart, L.V. Myles and Classic Apparel factories in Haiti Disney workers are trying to bring up a family on a minimum wage of 28 cents an hour.
