HOW FASHION EFFECTS THE ECONOMY

Changes in fashion help to keep the manufacturers, distributors and retailers of clothing and footwear in business. It also provides work for advertisers, models and various others. The media benefit from the advertising revenue. In principle, one could wear one's clothes till they wear out. In fact, many people in the world are poor and have no alternative to this. The ones that do spend money on clothes are from the ages 17 to about 23. Women noticable show way more than men and spend about 2 times money on clothing than men do. In todays world the men and women shop about the same amount and spend from any where between $1000 to $10000. Depending on what you wear and what brand it is well vage in prices. Some may pay $20 dollars for jeans where other may pay $300. Clothing to some will give them a sertant status and to many thats what people go after the APPEARANCE
